Local business owners Claire Donnelly and NFBN Editor Kerri L Watt have joined forces to launch The Big Biz Show, a business, marketing and PR podcast.
The duo share advice on running a business, finding clients, legal considerations, digital marketing and publicity ideas.
The show also features listener questions and cheeky work-related confessions.
Co-Host Claire Donnelly, also owner of The Business Box and Admin No. 1, said: “I’ve wanted to do a show like this for years and some of the best collaborations come when working with someone who is just aligned in vision and thought. We’re finishing each other’s sentences already!”
“I love helping companies and giving advice so I cannot wait for this opportunity to help even more people”
Claire Donnelly, The Big Biz Show Co-Host and owner of The Business Box
She continues: “Marketing is a must for any business. If you’re doing nothing, you’ll get nothing back and we have so much experience between us to share with listeners. As a business mentor, I love giving advice and helping companies so cannot wait for the opportunity to reach even more people.”
The show is recorded from a media studio on The Marsh, Hythe, that Donnelly invested £60,000 in for New Forest businesses to use without needing to invest in their own equipment.
Most popular episodes so far:
- Episode 1: Money and pricing
- Episode 7: Building your email list and generating new leads (ethically and without any awkward sales calls!)
- Episode 2: Promoting your business on a shoestring budget
Producer and Co-Host Kerri L Watt said: “I’ve been working alone for over a decade so to have a business partner with incredible experience and someone to share a new project with is truly wonderful.
“Plus with the world getting back to more in-person activities, we are just thrilled to get out in the community and welcome more guests in the studio.”
Donnelly and Watt are planning a season one wrap party at the Vibrant Brewery in Hardley in the autumn.
The Big Biz Show is now streaming on all major podcast platforms including Spotify, iTunes and Amazon Music.
