Lymington and District Chamber of Commerce (LDCCI) has shared their “launchpad” plans to grow after the drastic impact of the Covid pandemic.
With two new board members, the focus of the Chamber is adding more support, becoming active in the local council and organisations, and ensuring their programme fits members requirements.
LDCCI has an emphasis on supporting businesses in the area and creating an organisation based on its members’ needs since its 1952 launch.
The Chamber board said: “Over the last few years the Chamber, as with many organisations of its kind, has been met with the challenges presented by COVID.”
They believe it is time to put this in the “rear-view mirrors” and focus on building the Chamber for members and the local community.

Simon Thomas of Atomic Digital Marketing and Guy Standley of Standley Estates were welcomed as new board members in September.
Although the LDCCI is overseen by a board, its ethos is “Your Chamber, Your Choice” – allowing members to share their ideas about the organisations offering and future.
The Lymington Chamber is recruiting new members, updating its website, promoting networking breakfasts, plus hosting additional social and business events.
LDCCI hope to find new members from various industries including retail, education, sports, hospitality, charities, financial and events.
The next breakfast networking meeting will be held at New Forest Basics Bank in Lymington on 20 October. To book a place or find out more go to www.lymington.biz.
