Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) has announced funding for Health and Social Care training to businesses based in the New Forest District Council area.
Funding ends in March 2023 and courses are open to companies with less than 250 employees.
Lisa Hutchings, Partnerships Coordinator at Serco, said: “We can work with you to develop a bespoke training programme relevant to your business needs.
“A wide range of training can be accessed at no cost to your business.”
Health and social care courses include dementia awareness, understanding mental health, stress, schizophrenia, eating disorders, nutrition, and infection prevention and control in a health care setting.
Partnering with Logistica Training, SSW helps small and medium businesses upskill employees with qualifications and fully accredited training courses in the West of England, Swindon and Wiltshire, and Solent areas.
“A wide range of training can be accessed at no cost to your business.”
Lisa Hutchings, Partnerships Cooridinator, Serco
Over 69,000 learners have been supported through SSW delivered by Serco.
SSW believe this funded training can increase profitability, reduce staff turnover, attract new talent and give a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Applicants must be over 16 years old and have the right to live and work in the UK.
